Testimonials from Eaglearts Participants & Parents
Pyper is thrilled to be going again. She has had a very exciting year with regards to her acting. She is in a Nickelodeon movie that will be released to TV in April or May. We are all very excited and the additional training she got last summer with EagleArts Pyper truly expanded her abilities, her acting was challenged in ways I never really new she had in her! We are looking forward to more training this summer.
Thanks a lot for everything you did with the youth camp. As a parent I am seeing a lot of growth that happened over the two weeks and continues to happen with both my sons, Yashar and Sacha.
They are very happy that they attended the camp. Sacha would like to come back to camp next year and has been talking to his friends about it too. I am so sad that why I didn't think of sending them the previous years especially for Yashar. He has been working on his music everyday since coming back from the camp.
Nahzie Shams - parent of Sacha (14) and Yasshar (18)
My thanks for all you did for Emma during the camp this year. I am most grateful; she had a marvelous time. The letdown of coming home to normality was difficult for her; she missed it all so much. Perhaps next year you could offer post-camp-trauma counseling on line, for parents as well a students!
I am particularly grateful to Lucy and Eric for the experience Emma had in choir. It was matchless, far beyond anything I had imagined possible. Please extend my sincere thanks to them. I do hope they both return.
Margaret Horsfield - parent of Emma (11)
Thank you to all staff and Instructors at Eaglearts. I am sure it has all been said before but let me repeat: Job well done! Anika gained unknown dimensions in personal growth this summer.

On behalf of both Jenny Newsome and Taryn Keller I wish to extend all of your staff a deep hearted thank you. Both of these kids are still pumped and excited about your wonderful program. Both have made numerous new friends of which they are still writing to each other.
It takes a special group to have 15 yr old girls excited about the many things you taught them. They joined your group to improve their dancing skills but came away with a lot more than that. They are already talking about next summer and how the course maybe extended to 3 weeks. Please keep us informed, as I know you will have 2 returning next summer.
Clyde Newsome - parent of Jenny (15) and friend Taryn (15)
I have been meaning to email for several days in order to express our appreciation for such a wonderful program! My daughter, Shelby, had a wonderful experience. She found a voice she didn't have prior to camp, danced hip-hop, wrote poetry and performed her acting piece wonderfully. She very much enjoyed the choir. She made many new friends.
I enjoyed immensely the performances and I was very impressed with how well they performed the massive amount of work they did over just a two-week period. I thought the festival type day was perfect.
Thank you so much!

Angeline's life has been truly enriched since participating in the song-writing class and singing lessons with Lucy. We are very appreciative of these gifts of teaching. I talked with Angeline, as well, and she was exploding with stories of great accomplishment and confidence to match. Thank you all.
Simon and Louise Henson - parent of Angeline (15)
Tahirih, Teresa, and Christina all had a wonderful time at Eagle Arts!!! So much so, in fact, that Tahirih and Teresa both have asked to attend Maxwell starting in January. We will begin working on thier applications for Maxwell soon. What is the deadline for applications?
Thank you and everyone involved in the camp for making it such a special experience for everyone.

Our heartiest congratulations to you for one INCREDIBLE line-up of youth performances!!!!!! We appreciated all of the hard work and dedication that went on behind the scenes, by yourselves, as camp directors, youth, teachers, and supporting crew!!!! The messages of light, hope, and peace were truly inspiring. Kudos to you and your staff!

Thanks so much for a magnificent, hands-on approach, for the entire experience you created for our kids. Lyla Albert had a great time, appreciated the diversity in curriculum, made some really special friends, enjoyed the day in Victoria and is still thinking about and talking about her time at Lake Shawnigan. It was awesome. Thank you for your care in making it such a great program...
It was so awesome to hear from Lyla last night, our first conversation since she's been at Eaglearts and she absolutely confirms that this was a great choice for her...She's really happy...The variety of classes, the performance opportunities are awesome. I know her tendency continues to be shying away from a lot of awesome opportunities, like taking private vocal lessons with someone new, ...anyway, she's happy, challenged, inspired, it doesn't get better than that. She also loved going to Victoria, had a great time and has made some wonderful new friends. Enjoy the remainder of the week with this group of students and I know you understand how you touch so many lives-it's great. Thank you.
Christine Albert - parent of Lyla (15)
Olivia and I made it home safely.... and we talked about what a moving experience it was for her and how overwhelmed I was from Saturday nights performance. Anyone that witnessed what I did last night had to have their spirit lifted. It has always been a dream and wish of mine to be able to send Olivia to summer camp. I have a new dream and wish that Olivia mature and grow and some day come to Eaglearts and at least give back 10 percent of what she took away today. I love you all and you too Bill. Bill, I was going to shake your hand last night but you were to busy . Again I love you all .... Harv and Olivia... friends of Eaglearts for ever....
Harvey Pace - grandfather of Olivia (9)
I am just amazed of how much the children have done and learned. Nakisa loved her experience. She has already put in a request to go back to the camp next year. May be Jasmine, Nakisa's sister will come too. Once again, thank you to all of you for your hard work and caring.
Tam Donnely - parent of Nakisa (15)
Thank you for providing a wonderful environment for our daughter, Kehla Jefferson Champion, to explore all her interest. It was a gift to have found your program.
Crystal and Larry Champion - parents of Kehla (14)
Thanks for this moving newsletter. I am in tears as I write this. What a magnificent week of magic for all of you! I'm thrilled that Sharmila can be in such a fabulous environment where she can let her inhibitions down. Brilliant! We are desperately trying to finish renovating Sharmila's room so that she'll have some sort of motivation to return to us after the exotic and truly transformational experience she is having at Eaglearts. She is already planning her return next year.
Almeda Miller - parent of Sharmila (12)
Thanks for taking such good care of Damon. I never would have left him if I did not feel completely comfortable with the competency and caring of every staff member at Eagle Arts.
Michelle Calbick - parent of Damon Guy (13)
I am Anna Saeger, I attended Eaglearts last summer. I wanted to thank you, and everyone else for an incredible summer! I had such an awesome time at Maxwell, I will remember it forever. The staff and teachers were so kind and had so much to teach us, I loved going to class each day and learning something new, always with a big smile form everyone around me. The field trips were a blast, and I especially appreciated the independence the older students had when we went out. I always felt comfortable, and when we were all sick there was always someone there to help us. West side story was tons of fun, crazy, but fun. I loved the atmosphere of the camp, as I walked to and from classes to my dorm room, people were always singing and laughing, or drawing, or practicing lines, it was so fun to be in a place where everyone shared the same passion as me. I still keep in contact with some of the friends I made there, I am so grateful for this experience. Thanks so much!
I have told many people about Eagle Arts, and I know they will all have just as much fun as I did.

I was going through some old emails and finally found your email address. I wanted to write and say hi. I sure miss everyone from Eaglearts. It's funny how close a bunch of people can become in three weeks time. I was absolutely overwhelmed by how caring, supportive and accepting everyone at the camp was and I had just a wonderful time.
I have been telling my friends here at home about the camp and my experience this summer and it has made me appreciate it even more. People are amazed when I describe the family feel and the supportive nature of the camp. I believe Eaglearts really made me a better person.
Janine Krakowski - staff
At Eaglearts I was taught to be a better person and to always go ahead as a human being and an artists, to set goals and strive to achieve them!

I now understand much more about music and many of the puzzle pieces are fitting together. I gained many new skills and will be much more diligent in my practicing, I will apply several of my new skills and will work hard to make music my profession. I thought Eaglearts was an extremely fun program and will definitely come back next year! The staff and students have made this experience wonderful!
